Guest: Graphic Studio
June 16, 7:30 pm – “Carol I” Central University Library of Bucharest
The next edition of Zeppelin Evenings we meet a young architecture office, but with many projects. Graphic Studioworks both large and medium operations, using the latest technologies, and the small building that occur in sensitive contexts.
Lia Manoliu National Stadium (in collaboration with Von Gerkan Marg & Partner – Germany and UAUIM – CCPEC) is perhaps the most important example of the first category. The Football House in Bucharest and The Academy of Football in Mogosoaia (in collaboration with Emil Barbu Popescu) were awarded at the 2002 and 2006 editions of the Bucharest Architecture Biennale. At the other end of the architectural scale it is a delicate rural home in the Brasov area that has been nominated for the 2010 edition of the Biennale.
Between the two extremes are many projects of office buildings, apartment buildings, gymnasiums, swimming pools, restorations and individual homes that have received awards and nominations at the most important competitions, were included in international exhibitions and published in the major architecture magazines.
The office was founded in 1998 and is led by four partners: Remus Harsan, Karoly Nemes, and Crina Popescu Dragos Perju.
