- Str. Dr. Constantin Istrati no. 1, Bucharest (opposite of Bus station Filaret, next to Park Carol)
- Saturday, 6 of june, from 9:30 P.M.
- Gates open at 7 P.M.
The first Saturday of this summer comes full of Norwegian, Swedish and Danish movies – a rare opportunity to enjoy the Scandinavian cinema at Carol Factory (Halele Carol), but also to celebrate the national day of one of the invited friends, Sweden: on June 6th, just after sunset, the lights of the northern cinema arrive in southern Bucharest, in the former factory next to Carol Park, continuing our program of activating the old site.
We will start with a collection of short films of all genres, varying from fiction to documentary and animation, and for those who like nordic deep breath we have plenty of feature films, too – masterpieces or emerging fiction or nonfiction.
To enter easily into the atmosphere, gates open at 7 afternoon at Carol Factory and invite you to (re)visit and experience the 5 Norwegian-Romanian installations of our recently released project Design Post-Industry. Of course, the cold terrace is open until late at night: the last cinephile will close the gate!
Thanks to the Embassies of the kingdoms of Norway, Sweden and Denmark and for the films that they have provided for this night.
Of course, entry is free. Films are subtitled in English.
