A geheimagentur presentation, within Actopolis project

geheimagentur (i.e. secret agency):

A port for alternative cruise ships, performance art schedules at the fair in Hamburg, the Black Bench in Oberhausen – all these are examples of situations and institutions that geheimagentur produces and which seem fictional, at the same time succeeding to pass the reality test. Actions taken by geheimagentur cross the borders of symbolic policies to “instant pleasure”: they create a miniature version of another reality rather than confirm the old world through critical gestures. geheimagentur is an independent brand, an open collective and an attempt to practice “the art of being more”.

The presentation took place on April 11th 2016 at in Bucharest during the exchange between participating cities in the Actopolis project. geheimagentur are the curators of the Oberhausen program and were for coming to Bucharest for the first time.
