Community and individuality
One of the most sensitive issues of Post Socialism was abandoning any community oriented urban management. Spontaneously, neurotic reactions are born, in order to escape from any form of urban regulation, protesting against the idea that there is only one destiny that a city can create equally for all its inhabitants. This phenomenon is accompanied by an explosion of individuality as a form of expression of freedom; huge energies are forced to find their own dynamics. By understanding this living process, constantly influenced by so many factors, Urban Report #2 tries to imagine the future of Eastern cities in beyond stereotypes, from a positive perspective, namely the transformation of the defficiencies in opportunities.
